Default 502 mpi shutting down at 5150rpm

Hello everyone,
I have a 28 daytona with twin 502's over the winter i put lightning headers and arizona speed and marine breathers on and also had them recalibrate my computers. I told them to set the rev limiters at 5500rpm first time out it shut down at 5150rpm. So i assumed they didn't do them right so i sent them back they said everything is perfect. If you rev it up on the hose to 3000rpm and let off you can here it popping out the exhaust and it will not rev up to 5500rpm. I changed the plugs checked the fuel pressure every thing looks good. Any ideas. asm

Tell them to do it again unless you have plug wires on wrong or broken plugs.

Unhappy

I've had my own share of bad experiences with Jim at AS&M also.

Nothing to do with the ECU reprogram. Just a laundry list of shortcuts and mistakes they made when installing a supercharger for me. And they charged me top dollar for the work.

I had the same problem with a 35 Fountain I installed an A&Z kit on, the first sea trial hit 5200 or there a bouts and the motor shut off! That gets your attention real f'n quick!! Sent them back out and they again raised the rpm limit and I never had a problem after that. But if I ever hit that new limit I bet it would do it again.
