80s ROCK Concert in Pryor

I don't know many of you in here very well, except for up at Hookers at the lake... but I just found out about this concert, and at least thought I would spread the word and make sure everyone knew about it....

It sounds amazing, and I can't wait already!

I've known about it for about a month or so. I would like to go, but I just don't think I can sit through a 3 day concert! It looks like lots of cool old school bands.

VIP is kinda pricey (275.00) if you ask me... all vip gets you, is free beer, free parking 2 cafeteria style meals each day, and access to an air conditioned tent with a big screen.

You can get the reserved seat 3 day ticket for 125.00. 3 day parking for 10.00 and then just have to buy your beer and go to your car when you want air conditioning...

I won't stay the whole time, prob go back and forth from the lake... but it should be a fun time...

They say I spend my money on women and wine
But I couldn't tell you where I spent last night
I'm really sorry about the shape I'm in
I just like my fun every now and then

I'm always workin' slavin' every day
Gotta get away from that same old same old
I need a chance just to get away
If you could hear me think this is what I'd say

Don't need nothin' but a good time
How can I resist
Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time
And it don't get better than this

A group of us at talking about making an appearance in Bustang Sally for at least one day of action.

Something tells me the mullet wig may come in handy for this occasion.

Many of the bands are doing alternate night gigs here in Oklahoma City. There is a concert Friday night which is supposed to be the Saturday bands from Pryor. Saturday night there is another concert which is the bands from Friday in Pryor. One is at the Pepsi center and one may be in the Cox center. I will get more info. We were planning a trip to Pryor until we found out most of them are coming here to OKC in a less crazy, less hot, less crowded environment.

Kind of defeats the purpose of going doesn't it?

Iron Maiden isn't on the list, whatever.
