Default True Flow XDI Air Intake Kit

Has anyone had any experience with the True Flow air management systems? I just had the True Flow XDI Air Intake Kit installed on my new 2007 F-250 w/ 6.0 Powerstroke engine yesterday afternoon. Today my engine light came on. Maybe it is just a coincidence but I am not sure. Any ideas?

Could be a coincidence, I see a lot of guys saying not to use aftermarket intakes on their diesels, and that the stock intakes are good enough.

Check out http://www.dieselstop.com, they're a good Powerstroke website.

The stock Donaldson filter is VERY free flowing. I have heard most aftermaket CAI on 6.0 PS are not recommended.

I have the TrueFlow foam filter on my 7.3 PSD. No issues.

check your MASS air Flow, if the filter was heavely oiled oor oily it might have "attached" itself to this. Remove it gently and clean with cleaner if so.

I have it on my silverado V-Max. Most CAI systems are little more than a smooth tube from the air box to the throttle body. You can make your own and probably save some $. I do like the True Flow foam filters.
