Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but have been a big fan of the site for some time now. I currently run a '95 Checkmate Convincer 253 with a 454 Mag/Bravo 1. Problem is, I smoked the motor today and have to be up and running in time for our traditional Memorial Day run to Block Island. Any ideas/recommendations on where to shop for a reliable crate motor. I'm a bit torn between upgrading to a 496 or 502 depending on price point....any help would be greatly appreciated.
