Post Who's gotta link for lifejackets?

Anyone have a link for those lifejackets that are worn like suspenders. They are uninflated until they are submerged in water and then automatically inflate themselves.

I have 4 adult and 2 kids jackets for sale. They are what you want and they are the Sospender brand in dark blue. They have the auto inflate etc. Call me at (516) 398-4600 and I will tell you about them.

After you look at them in the west catalog, buy them from bass pro or cabelas for for $5 less.

$144.99 at west $139.99 at Bass pro, $139.95 at cabelas.

West is usually 5%-30% higher than any other place depending on what it is.

Tantrum,

Those would only be effective worn outside of your overwear. They may not inflate properly constricted by overgarments.

Question

Cig500,

I have four of the manually inflated jackets from West Marine. Is there a way of converting them to auto-inflate, or am I stuck buying all new ones if I want the auto-inflate? When I bought my manually inflated vests, the auto-inflate ones were not Coast Guard Approved yet.
