CMI Headers do not void the warranty of the engine. The situation of voiding the warranty or a claim is if the exhaust system fails and causes damage to the engine.
If you install CMI headers and the alternator fails and you are still within the warranty limit, you are covered.
If you install CMI headers and your crankshaft fails. You still are covered under warranty.
The only time that installing the headers voids your warranty is if they contribute to the failure. Simly installing them and running them does not void your warranty.
