Im looking at insurance for my 260 Stinger and Im having trouble finding a company that will insure it. They all say something about it being a "high performance" style boat that is capable of high speeds. Anyone else have this trouble?
Does anyone have any reccomendations? I need to have some sort of insurance! Dan

Let me know who you find the best deal with!
I have been reading everones threads for several days now.
I have been on the fence about purchasing a 260 Stinger for a couple of days now, and this afternoon took the plunge. I havent even looked into insurance yet, so please let me know if you find a good deal,
Thanks

Ok, wife just got off the phone with
American National Property and Causaulty or AMPAC
They just qouted her for a 86 CC Stinger for an lower estimated value of 11,100 plus 5000 personal property
for a total price of $257 per year. After my rebuild is finished
I can always up my coverage, but I thoought this sounded great after reading some of your rates! But I am in Oklahoma and am Land Locked so dont know if that is a factor.

Our 245 is insured through Boat US. Standard 100/100/50K + 10K property 800K fuel spillage, with a $250 deductible, agreed replacement value of $10K, $2500 on the trailer is $364/Year. No restritions on layup period or navigational waters. There is a $19.00 year member fee. But you get free towing as a member.
