What are some good offshore boats in current production with twins in the 28 to 30 ft. range? Opinions on them are welcome, including value for the money.

I could only come up with a few in that lenth with twins:

Laveycraft Nuera 2950
Baja Outlaw 30
Donzi 28 ZX
Pantera 28 (I've heard it gets a bit tail heavy with twins)
Formula 292 FASTech

I am currrently waiting to see if I qualify for a brand new eliminator eagle xp 30 ft with twin 496 ho's for 145k, that thing looks bad ass.

for twins look at A SUTPHEN 32 one of the best rough water boats made lots of room in it. sister boats were the 30ft which was 87 and before, 31ft 88 to 2003 32ft 2004 and up had a ride in a 32 with a single 850hp in 5 to 6 footers at a cape cod race that was canceled in 04 we were running 65 to 75 gps with 4 on board it was awsome riding. I bet you can get a 496 twin for 120 to 140 for a guess.

The Donzi 28ZX with twin 350 Mags is a great boat with an awesome ride. As a matter of fact I have a 2000 for sale and its priced to go. Just took delivery of a Sonic 358 and I need to sell the Donzi. Call and ask for Scott 240-882-3557 if interested.

29 Scarab, 30Superboat will be MUCH less coin then anything mentioned.
28 Saber

Had a 29 Powerquest with 454s. Great boat for spacious living (better than most offshores), not the absolute best for bigger water. Depends what you are looking for.

btw, the pantera may be heavy only with bbc.

out of the one's you've mentioned...i think you can only get the donzi and formula w/ sbc's.
