Need New Bow Stop
#1
I have an Owens Aluminum Slide On trailer for my Formula 271, and want to get rid of the roller bow stop. Is there anybody that makes a bolt on V stop, that uses small carpeted "bunks"? After much searching, I have only found various rubber stops.
BTW: How does one get the yellow "rubber" stuff off the bow?
Thanks

I think I'm going to find a local shop to try and make a Myco-style bow catcher. From what I've seen, whatever rubber they use doesn't mark the boat? didn't think about just going with carpeted pieces...
I've also got a little yellow stain from the roller, maybe a little On/Off (muriatic acid mix) or similar hull cleaner?

My trailer builder is over in Tampa and would probably hook me up, but i'd prefer to have the boat on the trailer so whoever does it can fab/test fit right there.

That was my concern also, that it couldn't be fit properly without having the boat and trailer there for the fabricator to work with.

For those still looking, here's another option. Thanks UNSANE.

Now what about the non-marking rubber pieces?
