None with me personally BUT ... I was just reading the survey on a boat I was looking at and way down at the bottom it says "A grounding occurred while on sea trial. Consideration should be given to reconditioning the propellars and re-inspecting the running gear"

WTF!

I know someone who sea trialed a boat and heard an earth shattering kaboom that shook the boat from the engine compartment opened the bilge up and one of the staggered motors was laying on it side the bolts holding the motor in place never had nuts on it!

I was the seller and couldn't get the boat off the trailer due to a shallow ramp. Went 10 miles to another ramp and slipped and fell in(winter time) unhooking the winch strap. I cut my leg from my knee to my ankle. The guy felt sorry for me - BOUGHT THE BOAT and his girl slipped me her phone number. Turned out they were just friends anyway. I owed 65 grand and sold it for 45. Got laid and payments were alot easier on the 20 grand!
