sask , canada. Im looking at a cpl baja islanders but all of them have 454s. Im looking to have a nice turnkey 23 or 25 footer that would run 75+ . sj

No easy task Im sure. I have a lil 21 footer that does 73 but I think its sold. I , of course want bigger but cant stand the thought of going slower. I figure 500hp in a 232 and probably 550ish in a 25 footer is what would be required? thx sj

I was just joking with you, but a 232-252 islander isn't a boat I would consider speedy. If you like Baja's look at the outlaw, it won't run 75 with 500hp but you'll have something to work with.
