Anyone Boating in N. Mich this weekend?

Just curious if anyone is gonna be out on the water up north. either lake michigan or lake charlevoix. weather ain't looking the best but what's the worst that could happen? get wet?

We were thinking of going out somewhere for a day. Ive checked the weather and Traverse in only going to be in the 60's and here Grand Haven will be in the low 70's. Looks like a good weekend to finish yard work.

Looks like it might be cool and rainy up by Cheboygan this weekend. I think we are sticking to riding ATV's at Black Mountain and trying to get out on the Harley some. I'll wait until it warms up for boating.

I will know by early tonight. Im almost positive we will be up for Charlevoix on Friday. Ill post as soon as I know tonight, no later than 9pm

i like the little cove just down from the ironton ferry (charlevoix side). it's gets REAL shallow though...so if u check it out watch ur depth. comes up super fast. otherwise young state park towards boyne city is a good spot. just depends on where the wind is coming from usually. if i get out tomorrow i'll make a run towards oyster and see if i spot ya. weather is supposed to break up just before noon tomorrow so we might get lucky!!! hope to see ya.
