I have a 27' baja that I purchased last fall and have not yet registered it. I've read and been told by a couple people that if I document (coast guard says it qualifies) that all i have to pay annually for the state is a milfoil sticker. does anyone else here document their recreational boat in Maine and if so do you have to pay annual excise tax? Thanks.

There are a few guys that have them done at Dorres Engine and Marine. You may want to check in there if they can give you any info.
