Local Marina painted my boat from the rub rail up last night,went to look at it today and on 2 large areas on the bow there are a hundred or so areas that look like fish eyes, but they are lines that are 3/4 to 1 inch long They look like contamination, but they are perfectly straight lines, Paint was dupont chroma base .Painter is fairly sucessful as i have seen his other paint jobs. any Ideas what happened, or suggestions to fix.. Sounds like Tape Tracks to me.

thats what it sounds like to me to. Althought hard totell from a written description. Most fish eyes are from wax and silicon based products. But if the flaws are in a straight line chances are its tape tracking

I have a question, will naptha remove tape adhesive?
