Default is boat priced to high?

hey i just saw some other posts with people asking about there selling price and figured i ask also. am i way out of wack with what i am asking? i know it is a very slow market right now but i ain't getting any action at all. i had the boat sold at the west palm show deposit and all, but the guy never called, came back, never heard from him again. hey if your out there buddy hit me up. you would get a better deal then what we first agreed on. lol if i could just get 100 or so more guys leaving deposits and not coming back i could keep my boat.

Well here is my take on it and it is not said to piss you off. Your boat was for sale for a while at Hideaway Marina before you bought it. Its was said it could have been had at that time for less then 175k. Now you have it up with close to 200 hours and a "used" boat is thought to lose 20-30% the first couple of years. Also there is no trailer which for some that will mean another 10k or so. Don't get me wrong I have seen your boat in person and its nice but these are the realities when selling a boat. Unfortunately my "opinion" is price it around 150k. Good luck

To most people familiar with the boat, it looks like it is priced too high. It was for sale for so long for 185k that most people who would consider it will see it as overpriced. Of course, I don't know what you paid for it after the new paint and all. Also, the extended warranties are a selling point and probably cost you about 10k, but don't add that much in value. I think if you want it to sell, it needs to be priced at 175k with room to negotiate.

anything for the 10k i went for in the tv and sound system? how about the 4 year warranties on the motors and drives that i dont think anyone has or may be able to get anymore. dont get me wrong 199k may be a little high and i am willing to neg.

Well as far as stereo goes I would say it adds very little value to what extra a buyer is willing to pay. And the extended warranties to some hold weight but let me ask do the warranties cover simple wear and tear? The 525 engine usually gets 350-500 hours before a major rebuild which depending how often you boat that could mean a few months or a few years. Its not just boats that are selling "LOW" right now. I had my house up for sale for a while had about 150k in upgrades and was selling it at a very fair price and still was getting insulting offers. It seems everyone loves the upgrades just not willing to pay for them Like I said in my first post I truly am not trying to upset you or anyone else but the market sucks right now. You asked is it priced too high? YES right now in this market it is. If you want to move a boat in this market it has to be priced really right. Also looking at any boat from a buyers stand point I think the buyer says to himself if the boat is having a hard time selling fo x amount of dollars today what the hell am I going to do in a few years when I want to sell?? I truly do wish you good luck.

Joe has his Pantera 36' in great condition with extra upgrades he has put into it including custom paint, TV, extended warranty, and a custom sound system. Alot of the hours on the engines are at idle in no wake zones. This boat was priced at a great deal from the get go because our original customer was needing to sell the boat immediately. It is a tough market now but someone can own a great boat with incredible rough water handling and awesome performance in rough and flat water at a great price.Boat makes a great poker runner !!

We could not duplicate this boat now nowhere near this price.
