We did some testing a couple of winters ago on a solution. I picked this product up from a guy that swore it was ten thousand times slicker than cooking oil. I saw footage of his run and found it pretty dam impressive. He put it on a piece of metal and attempted a downhill land speed snow hill record. I have since lost his number, but I think he lives somewhere around Chicago. Try information for Clark W. Griswald. I think he might be in the food preservative business. Good Luck!

I saw the footage too.... very impressive
If it works on snow does not mean it will work on water

Mercrusier Blue. It adds HP to engines and makes the hull 'more faster' .

We actually used to do this when I raced outboards. Prime the bottoms with a good (PPG etc) epoxy primer and wet sand progressively down to 1500. Can't verify if it actually makes a ton of difference but as was stated, when you are looking for tenths and hundredths, you never know. This was on 450 to 550 lb Allisons, Hydrostreams and STV's.
