Thumbs up Selling on Craigslist verses cars.com

The fact that Craigs List is free has nothing to do with it - spending $40 on Cars.com wouldn't mean dlck if it resulted in a $18K sale. With that said, I have sold a car and a truck on craigslist.com in the last year and the response has been outstanding - I recently tried Cars.com and got a grand total of 3 calls in 2 weeks...all from brokers looking to sell my truck for a fee.

Beyond that I am not involved in hiring at my job but was told we get the most responses from Craigslist and heard the same from my brother.

Craigslist Rocks.

good information. I have 64 Impala SS that I want to sell. Classic Car Trader sucks as well. Mostly dealers wanting to buy.

i hit craigslist daily, but I heard a story just this morning from a friend about getting ripped for $3,900. I haven't been able to find out exactly what the item was...Still have to be diligent...

craigslist is the new ebay but better.

Mostly local, great deals, most the time you can go check it out in person that day.
