Default Best Deck Boat

I have been toying with the idea of acquiring a deck boat as a second boat to run around in. Taking more people out when I don't want to go too fast. Any suggestions? I was thinking about something not too used? I haven't seen any for a good price that would be of interest.

My buddy is a Hurricane ( Godfrey's fiberglass deck boat) dealer. He has 2 left over deck boats with Yamaha outboards. I think they are both 2005's. They are about 20' - 22' long. I saw them in his storage building but didn't take a close look. His name is Tom at 973 663 0167 and they are in NJ.

I purchased a Hurricane for the same reason last year. Very happy with the quality of the boat, and very functional.

The Hurricane Deck Boat is by far the most popular here in the South Florida canals. See them every weekend going by.

For the $money$, our 20' Starcraft has been a great value....I purchased it in 05' as a leftover 04' w/o power. Got it for under 15k new. Put my Merc 150XR6(already had it from a Switzer I'm rebuilding) on and what a great family boat! Only thing I hear complaints about is the 2 stroke smoker; wife and other passengers have made a few comments. I would do a 4stroker or i/o if possible. Deck boats are the best way to get 10+ people out with you and be able to ski & recreate comfortably.

If anyone has real interest in these 2 Hurricane leftovers, just let me know. I will get more info and pictures. I think one had a 4 stroke 115 and the other had a 4 stroke 150.
