Bravo III, how much HP?
#2
I am asking because a friend of mine has a ex Navy Seal boat that they are rigging with 468 ci Turbo Charged motors that the engine builder is claiming 950 hp and the builder is installing Bravo III's.

The builder is recommending and installing BIII's behind 950HP turbo motors? I'm assuming they'll be turning pretty high RPM's too? I'd be scratching my head looking for a way to get out the door.
Mine is a heavy boat and my BIII is taking somewhere in the 575HP range and it's a heavy boat and it's fine. But I'm easy on it 'cause I know I could grenade it if I wanted too.

A bravo 1 behind 950 isn't going to last. Alot of guys don't like the 5 blade props because they bite the water so hard. A BIII is REALLY going to get a bite on the water and with such little slip it'll be worse than a bravo 1 behind that motor. Hope he's getting a couple spares.........

Depending on the year of your drives he can beef up various internals but more inportant he will answer the first question you asked. His name is **** Trace 1-616-403-1006.
