Curious if anyone has seen this boat in person...is it in good shape?

"Professionally serviced every 25 hours."

Find out who serviced the boat and ask them about the "bird"

Also, ask for the Hull ID and call formula direct. They can tell you everything about the boat. Where it was purchased, options, etc. It looks to be a nice boat. Fresh water too!

If it is as clean as being portrayed than that is a pretty good find in my opinion. If I were in the market and everything checked out I would be all over it. VERY few twin 242 SR-1's! Rare Bird

looked at boat last year was sold at lakeport landing on lake winni, and as of last year I believe it still lived there in the racks and was not kept in the water. has no trailer. it is beautiful. I was going to buy it but instead found the same boat in maryland with a trailer and less hours for a lot less.
boat was also on ebay last year for like 15-18k I believe.

Jon, thanks for the offer.

twin242ls, thanks for the review, sure would be nice to find something with a trailer. A boat with Keikafer controls would also be a plus, I'm not a big fan of the quicksilver controls.

I do like the boat though, it would fit in the boatel that is near me.

Enjoy your ride, sounds like a great boat.

Here is an 85 242LS with twin 260s in Maryland that is a bit much $$$ and has been for sale for almost a year. I do like the colors but I'd prefer a boat with the curved windshield and bolsters...

Chuck,

Nice looking original boat. I just picked up a set of white controls for my 292, might be able to work a deal with you for the black ones from the 292. Just a thought.

Boat looks in nice shape, and if all is true, might be a really good deal for the money.
