Default 2006 F-350 Lariat FX-4 Question

They have come out with some incentives on the 2008 Superduty's and I'm starting to get the itch again for a new hauler. I will probably go for a 450. Here is my question. I'm a wholesale dealer and know how to liquidate my truck fast, but I would rather retail it obviously. Where have you guys had the best luck advertising heavy duty trucks? Autotrader, Craig's list, E-Bay???? Too many choices. The truck is a 2006 4x4 Crew Cab Lariat PSD with an FX/4 package. It is wedgewood blue with a tan leather interior, every option. The truck has 51,000 miles and has been dealer serviced from day one. The truck was 51,000 MSRP new, what should I price it at to not give it away, but not screw someone either?

kelley blue book for value; then auto trader, should sell in a week, mine did for asking price. MAKE SURE IT'S POSTED ON TRADERONLINE ALSO.

chuck, as a wholesale dealer you should have enough ford friends to tell you what the retail amount should be. Same as where to advertise it. Kelly is not used on the east coast so its shown value is of no use to you. You need to use the guide that is used at the auctions for the northeast. Then add 2 to three grand.

I think that truck would wholesale in Indiana for low 30's. I would go from there, plus 2 or 3 g over.

Mileage bring the price down some.
MMR
Wholesale $27,500-$28,500

Look on www.cars.com and www.autotrader.com

to see what competition you have.

Kelley Blue Book IS used in the southeast; at least all the Ford dealers in NC use it as a wholesale, retail & trade-in guide 1st, then NADA 2nd. Truck Trader online is good for a relatively quick sale; lots of exposure. Like I said I sold my PSD quick for asking price.

Chuck,
When you get a chance, can you email me some pics ([email protected]). I am in the Market for a F350 4X4.
Thanks,
Corey
