Blower motor timing questions?

have 3-850hp 14-71 blower motors and curious about how and what degree timing should be set at and what advance should be, any motors guys got answers. thanks

lock timming in at 30degrees, I was told this by an engine builder. Before I had done that when ever I would go in gear the motor would want to die. Once I locked in at 30 all my problems went away. If you have MSD distributers you can take them apart and rotate the parts around so there is no advance.
