Default Prop Help 32 fountain

I have a 2000 32 fountain with 502's, I have installed stainless marine exhaust and K& N flame arrestor and did full tune up. before mods I was running 5100 at 78.6 on gps. I am now running 82.2 on gps at 5250.

My issue is I am bouncing off the rev limiter at 5250, this is with 2 people and 3/4 tan of gas.

I am running 26 hydros that are polished right now.

what prop should I use to get the boat off the limiter?

(1.5 drive ratio)

Consider 28's... if they are a little too large, you can have them thinned out to increase the rpms. If you 27's and you are back on the rev limiters, you haven't reached your full potential.

Every inch of pitch equals 200 RPM. As you increase pitch you will decrease the RPM. So in your case if you are running 26P Stock Hydros then you would need a 27P stock semi-cleaver. Or possibly a labbed 28P which will open up several possibilities for you. Fee free to call me and we can discuss your set-up.
