Thinking about heading up there. Pretty long haul from Vegas but have some friends that live near there so thinking about this run. Anyone done it before or going this year?

I have done it twice.The scenery and people are great.Lots to do up there and the fireworks display is the best i have ever seen.Sign up and let chris take you all over the lake to some real nice restaurants and marinas.

Just to let anybody know who is planning on going to this event that it IS still happening. The fires have died down and it should be a beautiful week.

On tues evening the sheriff's department had called for an evacuation in Tahoe Keys which is where my house is, so I went up yesterday to check on my house and move my boat. The firefighters had done a great job containing the fire and there was minimal smoke in the air so by the weeknd and the 4th it should be great. Fireworks show on South Shore is the best ever!!!
