Alright here is what everyone has been waiting for. The First Annual "Thunder at the Lake"

Friday July 27th

Powerboatparty and Big Thunder Marine have been working to get an Awesome event put together for everyone.

Big Thunder Marine has worked out Dock space for everyone that is registered and attending the event. We have also been working on a Band, Food, and other things to go with this.

Registration is now online and can be viewed with the below link.

Everyone will get a wrist band showing they have registered and this will allow them into the event.

1 Poker Hand
Event T-shirt for Captain and 1st mate
Dinner for Captain and 1st mate
Entry to the Band
Entry to the Party
Slip space ( Based on availability )

And the chance to Win one of the many great prizes that will be given away.

#4 BackWater Jacks on the 17 1/2 Mile Marker


#5 Horny Toad on the 7 Mile Marker


#6 Back finishing the party off at Big Thunder Marine 7 1/2

As Dock has mentioned we are working to make this one of the largest events at the lake. We WELCOME everyone and look forward to seeing some BIG Power at the run. If you have not been to Lake of The Ozarks this would be a great time.

Friday will be the poker run

Just a quick reminder to register early if possible.

Pre-registration is $100 and Registration the day of event is $125

This includes:

Your slip space if you pre-register!
Dinner for Captain and 1st Mate
Entry to the Band and Party for Captain and 1st Mate
Event Shirts for Captain and 1st Mate
1 Poker Hand ( Extra hands can be purchased for $20 )
1 Goodie Bag per Registration

Every Registrant will get a wristband that will show they are paid to attend the poker run and the events after including Dinner.

This is not brand specific as everyone is invited and we look forward to seeing some of the great members of OSO at the lake for this awesome event.

I would like to say Thank You to all that have taken the time to Pre-register for Thunder at the Lake!

This has helped me with being able to get aprox counts for T-shirts, food and other things accourdingly.

As we approach a little over 2 weeks from GO time, I would like to remind everyone to stay posted to this thread for any updates or changes.

As we begin to prepare for a fun and safe poker run Please Remember!

Personal Floatation Devices (PFD?s / Life Jackets) are mandatory and are to be worn by all boat occupants during the event while each boat is being operated.

You will need proof of your Current water craft liability insurance company name, policy number and expiration date at time of registration.

Some of us are good about carrying this and some may not even know where there insurance registration card is. Please contact your insurance agent for a copy
