How do I hook up my Tach to my MSD 6AL
I installed a MSD 6AL in my boat along with a pro billet MSD distributor and I am wondering how to hook up the tach to the MSD 6AL..? Where do I find the tach wire in the back of the boat..?

it's normally the grey wire, here is a typical diagram http://www.marinemechanic.com/site/page250.html

From: long island, newyork
red and black harness from box to coil. orange and white harness from box to existing wires that WERE mounted to coil. orange to 2 purple wires off coil. white to 2 grey wires off coil. grey is mercury tach signal wire.
use quick disconnects, especially if your retaing stock merc module. this way when the box craps out on you , you can just return wiring to stock and get home.
