Default Resonable price for trimming down the Hook/Wedge

What is a reasonable price for trimming down the hook in an older Formula? Hook is 3/4" with a 3' straight edge - would like to get it ground down to 1/4" and gel coated, or is filling in an option?
Attaching picture of similar boat with standard Hook (Thanks mopower)

Thanks

yes, both sides - looks like mine could be handled while it is still resting on the trailer. No hook inside the bunks of the trailer.

cool, that was gonna be my next question. if it can be done on the trailer and kept confined to that area it may not be to bad, maybe seven-eight hundred and that will depend on weather the hook can be removed by taking the material off at the rear most running surface. otherwise it will need to be filled ahead of that area and it will affect final price. in other words if this can be done removing fiberglass alone it shouldn't be to bad but if it will need filled/faired beyond that it could get pricey.

Thanks Glassdave
I was told it should be able to be ground down without adding material, the tabs are mounted high enough where I won't have to move them either.

BU you have a PM

Correct - Outside Strake area only.

Thanks I was wondering the correct terminology for that area.

I wouldn't remove it without glassing back in, I believe Formula runs the glass into that part of the mould. If I'm wrong and all you grind out is filler, please disregard this msg.
