Default Searching License Plate #'s??

I had a phone call today that fit the description of my stolen boat. They got the license plate number from the tow vehicle. I need to know the best way to reverse search the plate number for an address. I searched the net but I can't tell if they are scams or what. God I hope this is a good lead. Thanks guys the plate number is PAP40 it is a Florida tag.

Did this the other day. If you have a friend in Law Enforcement, you will have an answer pretty quick. If not, call the agency you made the report with -- they should be motivated enough to run the check.

I would recommend turning this over to your investigator and let him deal with it. Law Enforcement officers cannot arbitrarily search license plate numbers. Let the pros deal with it.

your missing a number or letter somewhere, should be 6 units, unless it's a vanity tag...

I know this is a good idea, I jsut wanted to be able to do a drive by and see for myself to be sure that the boat was mine. Just didn't want to waste anyones time. Thanks

I was wondering about that too. I need to call and verify this number again.
