Default Houston Propeller Acclerator Service

anyone ever had the accelerator service done by houston propeller? i bought a 25 mirage plus on e-bay last year and can't pull the rpm's and i thought it just didn't look right.felt sharp on the edges and looked like someone ground the prop down.was gonna send it out to get labbed.looking on e-bay today i see a 23 that looks the same as mine and was done at houston props.now i think this 25 i have has already been tweaked and can't be worked anymore

Yes, it was a specific lab that Darin did for Bajas. He has since closed his doors. They are know to be pretty thin with a shorter life expectancy.

You might want to do a search on Houston Propeller.

A few very happy customers.....but a ton of unhappy people and some who lost their $$ and props. I'm not sure if the guy is still in business.

He did a hack job on my 4bld at one time. Had to send it down to Throttle Up and they did it right.

Wish I would have sent it to Throttle Up in the first place. Wouldn't have had to wait 6 months for a hack job.

Matt and Julie rock!
