I received a fax from Nordic last week stating Lonnie was no longer with them. I don't have any details, so I won't speculate. Thought I would let you guys know.

Hmmmm............?
Orval out, Randy in, that I understand and consider progress.
Lonnie out is a little more difficult to digest.
Good luck to you Lonnie. I'm sure you'll land on your feet.
Best Regards,
Steve

Not trying to be negitive, but I called & talked to him 2-3 times and he did not know me from jack. He was rude and transfered me to some mexican that could not speak english & my answers were never resolved. Before this company was sold, the customer service sucked. I have not called after it was sold so I do not know how it is now. Change is allways good, for both parties. Sorry to be negitive but I see this has a positive for both parties. I wish all well.

Not sure what direction the company is taking, but it has to be better than before. I have bought two Nordics, a 28', and a 35'
My experiences with both were less than pleasant, with blatent lies about delivery dates, and the standard it will be ready in two weeks, every two weeks I called.a trailer that didn't back up without locking surge brakes, and being told I can use a clamp on it when ever I wanted to back up.
I love my boat, I think they have great looking, boats that perform well, and are reasonably priced.
With that said I will never spend another dime with there company.

Yes we also got the fax......It is sad to Lonnie go after all the years at Nordic, he will be missed. I do think however it is best for both parties as they did not see eye to eye on the direction and day to day operations of the new company. After speaking in length with Randy Davis I am confident they will be a new and powerful presence in the offshore powerboat arena in the next year or two. We already have seen major improvement in the build quality and quality control. Good luck and best wishes to both.....

I always had a good repour with Lonnie and he was always Very helpful. But thats just my experience. I have read many stories from the other side. I wish him the best of luck. On the other hand, I know Randy Davis and he is a straight up guy. He has great plans and will improve on the customer service end of things as well as the overall performance of the company.
Look for big things and big improvements all around.
