TRS drives are becoming a little harder to find and such but honestly don't be scared of them. In my opinion they handle just as much power or more than a Bravo...yes they weigh a bit more because of the tranny but hey..I can live with it. What makes a difference for me would be the tranny is it a Merctrans or BorgWarner.? The BorgWarner will handle more power. If the TRS was just rebuilt that's great see if they have receipts etc. The hardest part to find right now for a TRS is a good lower case. They don't make the lower case anymore, so make sure it's not cracked.

Personally, I'd say that $15k is high unless the boat is really upgraded or spotless. $10k seems more realistic and I know that good boats have changed hands for less than that within the last say 6 months.

Boat is real clean with a new custom trailer. The motor is a 468 with DART heads and intake with 550 HP. TRS drive with Borg warner trans. Big K plans but no hydraulic steering. Garage kept for last 20 years. Interior is original and is nice, no tears or rips but needs updated.
What do you guys think????

No more than 10K and the hull needs to be sound.
Interior will cost 2K+ to replace and with the TRS it's worth less, rebuilt or not.
As an example:
I paid 13K for a 1989 24' Pantera Sport power by a 330HP Merc Bravo with 125 original hours. That was 5 years ago and the boat was a 9 out of 10...
