these new shifters from Dana rock this is the 3rd one we have put in and they are beyond great.

they hands down are one of the best drejustice has them on his 26 deck he was i belive the 2nd boat we put them on. The bolt patern is almost the same as the standard ugly black merc shifter so they install real smooth. the nice part is being able to trick them out billet wise to match the boat.

I've got one of these bad boys on order, hopefully it ships in the next few days. I went with the full powdercoated base. Great to hear a positive review on them. They sure look sweet installed!

For a traditional side mount shifter they sure do look great!

I recently ordered a $340 gauge panel from Dana Marine that turned out awesome! It took many weeks to receive it, but Mila kept me in the loop and everything worked out in the end.

On a single outboard 21' v-bottom would you guys recommend the Dana Marine shifter pictured above or a hot foot throttle?

I tend to only do the foot thing on Jets. Im a fan of the marine shifter so guess its up to you the boat owner on what feels best to you.
