Super Series Saves Show In Detroit
The wind kicked up on the detroit river on saterday so the hydros couldnt run .so they ran the offshores all day and had the people on the edge of their seats. and saved the day for the show. one of the hydro guys said he won 5 dinners betting that we could get through the tight rooster tail turn in the rough waves. and 5 others said no way so their buying him dinner. caused we smoked through the turn and put on a show the people went nuts it was awsome

Awsome! way to go Pro Series! wish i could have made it up there. Wind was kick'in pretty good all day and i was wonering how it was going.

The Offshore Pro Series really put on a show for the race fan's at the Chrysler Jeep Super Stores Detroit Gold Cup Race today and one that the fans won't forget for some time. Tom Abrams and Steve Curtis of Reliable Carriers from the Offshore Pro Series won the Gar Wood Trophy today on the Detroit River. Congrat's to Reliable Carrier's. I would like to say that each and every one of the racer's put on a great show for all us race fan's. The Air Show by one Jet was fantastic, what a job the pilot did and every person there and around there were in awe. Unfortuneatly Team Formula's U-1, Driven by Mike Allen got air-borne and flip on the final race for the Detroit Gold Cup. Mike Allen was taken to the Hospital and we heard that he was conscious and talking. We all wish him a speedy recovery. Dave Villwock in U-16 Miss E-Lam Plus won the 2007 Chrysler Jeep Super Stores Detroit Gold Cup. Congrat's. News yesterday said "the big boats" (the hydroplanes) couldn't run because of the wind, so the "smaller boats" (the offshores) ran. I chuckled when I heard that.
News this morning said the driver of the hydroplane was knocked out but is fine.
