Default Are these guys any good???

I have a 502 Bowtie engine beefed up to 540ci. I bought the engine from an OSO brother but it is in pieces. I am thinking of just dropping off everything I have to Precision Marine in Kenner, La. and telling them to get it up to par and dyno it. I am no mechanic so I need to know if there is anything I can do before I drop it to them that may cut down a few hours of labor. I am going to get this engine in top notch condition and then it will be placed for sale here in the classifieds. Any advice or comments about Precision Marine will be greatly appreciated....Thanks guys.

Chuck

Mark @ Precision is a real stand-up guy. He does all of the ECM recals for a buddy of mine in Ala. that owns Cathouse Performance Marine. Since you volunteered that you're not a mechanic, I wouldn't try to do any of it yourself. Drop it off, tell them what you want done and let 'em get after it. You'll be happy with the results. I've heard nothing but good things about those guys.

Thanks bro.....I really appreciate that. I had talked to a couple of guys about Precision and they had good things to say as well. I will be bringing my engine to them in about a month.
Thanks again,
Chuck

When you hoping to have your rig back together, Chuck? Looks like this season would be a stretch with the motor out and in the process of painting too. Maybe next spring? Just in time for the 200 next May!
