Default The plain truth about Pier 57

Bear with me as I hover under Frankies beanbag and sing his praises. The "Power of OSO" is more than an expression, it is a force driven by folks like Frankie McSwain that step up and assist when they don't have to, aren't asked to and then they try to do it for no compensation to boot. Fact is that I put out a message this AM because I had a buyer for my car in ATL but because he was using Capital1 he couldn't buy from an individual so I needed a broker of sorts, now it needs to be mentioned that about 6 other folks came forward to help also even though there was no mention of any dollars to be made or any gains at all. This is the fabric that most are made of on here.
Frankie spoke with my customer, had his assistant generate a couple of forms and within 2 hours or less it was a done deal, Pier 57 is my clearing house for the financial on Monday or Tuesday and by Sat I will be delivering my 3 series to ATL and then heading to OH to pick up my V24 Batboat before coming home.
What we have on here is very special, you don't find a finer group of Gents anywhere else on any board, it just doesn't happen.
Frankie, Thanks for stepping up today for someone you hardly know it is much appreciated. To all the other folks that offered to assist the same to you.
Kenny
Your Metal Brother

Never met Frankie but can vouch that Pier 57 is top notch. My dad bought a USED Fountain there and we were treated great. Spent 2 nights in a sweet condo on the lake, rode in multiple boats, and got free t shirts at the local watering hole. To this day JJ still remembers us and takes the time to answer questions or just shoot the **** about Fountains. Great people.

And yes, your right this is the fabric that makes up the "good people".
So what happened?? I thought you just bought the car a month or two ago?? Buy it just for a reason to go to Germany?? I still think it's kinda cool you took your Mom with you on the trip.

What's up Ken - and hey - I still want one of those MB T-shirts
