One motor broke and I simply dont trust either one any more - looking to repower with bigger horsepower and better transmissions. Problem is boat is 42 footer - can't trailer. Can anyone recommend a fair, straight shooting marina around Pompano Beach FL where I wont get screwed?
Many Thanks

I think he just doesn't have a truck/trailer to do it so he's looking for a haul-out?
I have no idea what the story is on this place, but there's a yard at the far west end of the canal where the 14st boat ramp is (Alsdorf Park). There looks to be a boat dealer or two that front US1, but this place is a block east of US1 on the north corner. I think they have a travel lift; I've seen some big sportfishers on jacks, and it seems they have plenty of room. But like I said, I have no idea if they're open to hauling you out, pulling the motors/trans, and letting you stay awhile.

Tell Mindi you saw the suggestion on OSO. She'll take good care of you.
