gone but not forgotten..
on Monday, Carlos Guzman, 38, of Antioch, was gunned down at 12:30 p.m. at an East Oakland stereo installer's shop in the 5100 block of International Boulevard.
Guzman was an American offshore boat racer, well known in local racing circles, and had brought his $600,000 boat to the shop to have a music system installed. The boat, "Frisco Cat," was on a special trailer because of its large size.
While he was there, the killer rode up on a motorcycle, opened fire on him numerous timesand then sped off. He was killed instantly. Police doubt if robbery or carjacking was the motive.
"There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he was selected out to be murdered," Sgt. Tim Nolan said Tuesday.
Nolan said police have an idea why Guzman was killed, but would not elaborate.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to an arrest in each killing. Anyone with information should call police at 238-3821 or Crime Stoppers at 238-6946.

I can tell you the boat has My 850's in it with the best of everything in them. Engines made 875 on dyno with 3 lbs of boost. I had sent pulleys to Carlos to bump engines to 1000 HP. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at the shop. (216) 398-8500
