how many people can I carry?

how many people can I carry?
My boat doesnt have a plate on it that specifies how many people I can have aboard. I have the typical 3 person rear bench but a 4th could fit easily enough and a driver plus passenger. It sucks only bein able to take a small group out each time, is it legal for me to stuff people in the cabin for the 1 mile trip from the dock to the cove to hang out or what?

haha, funny you say that, i have a guy thats goin with us who is from hawaii and we constantly give him **** about bein a mexican.. so much to the point that i think he's finally just accepted that he's mexican..

Its not if you can legally fit 10 people in it ,its what kind of mood GRDA is in when they see it overladed and if they decide to pull your boat over and let you ride in there boat back to there dock for a sobering evening.

Boat builders must comply with Federal law by putting a Capacity Plate in sight of the helm (steering area) on motorized boats less than 20 feet in length. This plate displays three important items: the maximum weight of persons on board in pounds, the maximum carrying weight of the vessel in pounds and the maximum horsepower recommended for the boat.
Common formula is length of boat times beam divided by 15.

You must of slept in a Holiday Inn last night.
So my 38 Hustler can fit 20 people? 9 is tuff 6 is comfortable,But I have slept 5 up front kinda

I have had 12 in my little 27 Fountain, what a nightmare planning off, had to stuff the guys in the cabin. Normally I don't go over 8, couple of lucky guy friends and the rest girls.
