Cool Maximus Question

XR upper,2" shorty lower.Can i run a full size Maximus with this lower?I've measured and it looks close.

yes
I have shorties and just got some 15 5/8 maximus and they will work. I can take a pic if you would like to show you how close they are!

I had my maximus labbed and turned down to 15". THe maximus grabs a lot of water so be careful at 15 5/8"

I wouldn't run full diameter with the 2" shorty. I remember the first time we did it at Mercury Racing. LOL It is the reason we (Bob Hetzel) redesigned the cav plate on the 2" sportmaster. It is now removable for such set ups.

The blades flex more than you can imagine. 15.5" will work, 15 5/8 too close.

Guys what differences will i see from the 34 Bravo to the 32 Maximus.Will there be anything noticeable?

Slightly less rpm, more stern lift, better cruise (some times), handling changes and overall difference in feel.

you may want to play with the defuser as well.

they will also plane , turn and handle better than the 4 bld's.
