where do you get marinized duramaxes? is there enough room in there to fit all that?

There's alot more stuff and power to be had for the 5.9 B series Cummins. These have been used in marine applications for along time now. They are 6-7 inches longer than a BB and only 150lbs more or so. 5-600hp would be real easy, but the torque would be through the roof, 8-900ft/lbs. You would have to change gear ratios and still run a huge prop. I have been thinking about this setup for my Scarab.

I Thought About Cummins,but The Duramax Revs Faster(short Stroke),sounds More Like A Bbc,and Has Bbc Bellhousing Pattern.shorty Glides Are About 24" So Should Have The Room To Move Motors Forward.as Far As Marinized Duramax Parts I Have Heard Of A Coulple Places That Do It, But I Have Not Heard Back From Them.worst Case I Would Run Them With No Hatches Or Ele. Fans Big Scoops And Lots Of Vents With Watercooled Exhauts Extenions.

I saw these at the Miami Boat Show and I am VERY impressed with what I saw. I spent a LOT of time studying them. At that time they had a few things to finish up on cosmetic wise, but I really hope this company takes off and grows, as I feel they have a dynamic marketable product with a great engine at the right time. I can't say enough good things about what I saw and heard. Phenominal comes to mind...
