My boss is looking for a new trans for his 1980 corvette. The car is hopped up with nitrous. It has a 5 speed manual in it now. What sites have these on them. Or any recomended ones out there?

Have the 5spd gone thru, he will have a better chance at tearing up the rear end "irs" on that car than the tranny. also a good performance clutch and preasure plate also. while it is torn down.

you might want to check out corvetteactioncenter.com too. good people over there, they'll give you good advice.

I know there is a 6 speed box that you can fit in an 80, I think richmond. That's what I would go with, makes a world of difference having the extra gear.
