Default Clarion marine stereo question

As some of you know someone stole my Clarion stereo head unit amps and disk changer out of my Outerlimits this past winter.

Question is I have a M102RCW -ret wired remote still in the boat and I would like to keep this remote because it is white and it matches the guages on the dash and it is a royal pain in the ass to run the wire from the dash to the head unit. Do any of you Clarion dealers know what units will work with this remote ? The unit that used to be in the boat was M5675 . Thanks , Tom

Tom,
I`m no stereo expert, but I`ve owned plenty of Clarion stereos.
As long as you have a Clarion wired-remote, any "marine / remote-ready" Clarion head unit will plug in and work.
Sorry I can`t be more specific....

That remote will work with any Clarion Marine radio that is remote ready from about 2001 on up. The remote cables have stayed the same as well for that time period.

Look at the Clarion M475. It is the same size as the unit you have now. You might see the M275 that looks the same for less $. The difference is that the M275 is not wired remote ready.

like they said, you should be fine as long as you go with another wired clarion remote ready deck. Make sure you check the specs on the deck before you buy.

Not True. I had a cmd3 in my boat and had to upgrade to the cmd5 and the remotes wouldn't interchange. The software in the stereo wasn't compatible. I had to buy the new remote too.
