IT'S ON! CPC Lunch Party on Sunday!
Fellow denizens of the boating world...the weather has turned for the worse, but WE SHALL PREVAIL. Thanks to the power of the human mind coupled with a nearly insane desire to go boating, WE HAVE CHANGED PLANS!
For those that have been paying attention, we had planned a Beach Party for this Saturday, September 15, at Boater's Beach. Due to the unfortunate circumstance of an early onset of fall this week and resulting 6 to 9 foot waves forecast for Friday, the Beach Party will be shelved for another day. HOWEVER....for those still interested in getting their hulls wet this weekend, Sunday's forecast looks much better. Highs are supposed to be in the mid-70s, with waves around 1 to 3 feet...not beach weather, but certainly boat-driving weather! So here's the revised plan:
The CPC Lunch Party
Where: Michigan City, IN
no WHERE: Matey's Bar and Grill
The Plan: Meet up in Michigan City, tie up on the wall just before the drawbridge (on your left side as you are coming in, for those unfamiliar), walk up and over the bridge and across the street to Mateys to have a couple refreshing beverages and some lunch with your CPC buds.
The Time: A group of us will be leaving East Chicago (Pastrick Marina) at around 11 am. We should arrive in Michigan city by 11:30 or 12...pending a timely departure!
For those interested in hooking up with a group to run with out of Pastrick, please give me a call at 708-373-2973 and we'll hook you up.
C'mon out and enjoy the waning days of the season...it could be your last chance!!
