Any of you guys run these in the ocean? work ok?

I did.... But I forgot to check the weather forecast!!! everything was cool till I headed back from catalina, ran smooth untill I had waves so big they were crashing over the boat, not a good experience for my first time in the ocean. Any boat would have been tossed around in the stuff I got stuck in.
