A buddy of mine got some jello shot on the seats and didn't get it cleaned before he left for two months; seem to be set pretty good.

He might have to do a little bit of testing. I would start with shaving cream. You would be suprised at what it can do. Spray it on, let it soak and then take a wet non scratch pad and scrub. He can also try a very mild rubbing alcohol blend. You said the seats are colored vinyl, so he needs to stay away from any bleaching products. Also, give the magic eraser a try, it might help. The sun will help over time, but it might take quite awhile. Hope this helps.

I already had him try the Magic Eraser/309 with no luck. Then he tried some Starbrite Vinyl Cleaner. Starbrite also has a Vinyl Shampoo that they're saying to try.

Shaving cream and a non-scratch pad (like a Scotts gentle pot scrubber or something?)...which brand of shaving cream do you prefer? haha

Tell him the jello goes in his mouth, not on the seats!

I knew you would find that funny.
Just plain ole shaving cream. It might shock you.

The pads are Scotchbrite by 3M. They are the blue non scratch that have a rougher side and kind of a foam side. Use the rougher side, but make sure the pad is wet with water. Rinse the pad before use then scrub where the shaving cream is soaking. Let us know.

Hair spray will do the same thing as the rubbing alcohol. Nail polish remover usually contains acetone. It will remove the finish on the vinyl and the vinyl will be very dull where it is used. Try it as a last resort.

Try some Oxi Clean or color safe liquid bleach.
