You need to run at 5000 RPM at WOT. Are you trimmed for speed at 4300 RPM?

For max speed go to 25 Mirage Plus propellers if 4300 is all you can get out of her.

My suggestion would be, if you want the 4 blade mid range qualities and drivability, we can do a customized set of 26 Bravo 1 Labs for you with a chrome bumper HI-gloss to prevent corrosion.

I know a man in Sweden who runs a 35 Outlaw, 496 HO's 2006. He uses Bravo One 28P (not labbed) and the boat tops out at 75 mph @5100 on the GPS.

Good luck,

35 and 36 Outlaws are different animals. The 35 with the same power will be quite a bit faster.

Buggy
THe 496's will get a little more RPM's once you get above 100 -125 Hr's
A friend have a set of 26" hydros that might work well.
I got similar issues. Can't get past 65 MPH with a 33 footer.
I have a set of 24" bravos. YOu might want to try the 24" and have them labbed and add a little more cup to them. THe 24's are priced great. I use 26's B's with same speed as the 24",s.

The 36 Outlaw went out of production a couple of years ago.
I used to run a Baja 342 Performance 496 HO's, 2006 and reached 73 mph with Bravo 26 standard.
Another guy in Sweden runs a 33 Outlaw 496 Ho's, 2005. He hits 78 mph.
Last season I put Whipples on the engines and changed props to Throttle-Up CNC 5 blade 29P and hit 84 mph!

Thanks Julie!
Yepp, I traded the Baja + change for the Fountain. It runs 90 mph @5200, Mercury 600's (93 mph @5350 according the the Fountain sheet, downhill, homesick and the sun in the back). I always have plans for my boats. When I get to the props I will contact you. What a ride the Fountain is, fast as hell and smooth as silk.

Paradox
The whipples are great! I estimate the output in the neighborhood of 550 hp since I used the stock exhaust. Whipple claims 600 hp, but then you need headers.
I have run 70 hours with the superchargers without any problem at all. Just change the oil and filters more often.
A simplier way is to go for headers, 1.8 roller rockers and the Whipple stage 2 rerprogramming of the ECU's. In theory you could get near 500 hp.
