Default Factory 2 racers anyone still racing?

Hey Guys, I sure had a lot of fun racing Factory 2 in 98, 99, 00 and thru its decline. Remember 22 boats in the start of Sarasota in '99?
How about the grudge match Ritchy Rich hosted in St Pete? A lot of people went swimming in those days. I did as well. I will always treasure the good times and memories from those days. I met a lot of good people as well. Are any of you guys out there? Who is still racing?

If they kept the engines ,original, stock, sealed at mercury only . True , Factory boats , they'd still be racing.

Seems one of the problems was the engines were changing. Timing was a little off. Now 525's have remained more or less unchanged.
Sure was fun while it lasted.

It sure was! I wish I had known the opportunity I had when I had it. Nine years racing and really only after4-5 did I really "get it". Hopefully all you guys are doing well.
Great thread Jimmy.

Factory racing is dead. We can now only wait about 20 more years and start posting in the historic secion about how great we were.

Yea yea, If only you could be so lucky as to race 20 boats in your class.
