Unhappy Fuel Tank Pick up

I've got a Donzi 22zx 454 MPI procharger. Thinking I should install a larger fuel p/up currently 5/16 hose as a feed. Does it need to an have an anti siphon installed or just a tube the bottom of the tank? How far of the bottom?? Any help would be great.

no anti siphon. Plus you need a larger feed line with that blower. -8 at a minimum, probably better with -10.

Definately no siphon, 1/2" hose to be sure that you are getting all you need. Better to err on the side of too much than not enough. Too small will blow your motor.

We Have Done A Bunch Of These With T.c. Marine. Use A 5/8 Pick Up.(that's #10) You Will Not Starve The Fuel Pump With This.

Make sure you also change the fuel filter head because the stock one with 1/4 pipe thread will not flow enough fuel. You could use 1" lines and not change the filter head and scatter the motor. A filter head with 1/2" ports would be the best.

I drilled my stock one out to 1/2". one inlet port for the tank feed, one for the fuel return and one out to the fuel pump. My tank had 2 3/8" pickups. I ran both of these into a 1/2" Y into the fuel filter head. No siphon balls/check valves.
