please tell me i'm not the only one to have done this
i went to the OSS races this last weekend in LOTO and ended up jumping in one of Reindls batboats for the class6 race with a local news girl at the wheel. we got a late start out of the marina because of some taping/pics they wanted to do and were a bit rushed as we droped in behind the pace boat. anyway as we came around for the parade lap and the start of the race i was making a last minute adjustment on my harness and i accedently blew my vest 
. i use SRP's canopy vest and it inflated under my 5 point harness, about couldnt breath for a sec, scared the crap out of me than it was kinda funny. had to run the whole race with this thing inflated cuz i couldnt get my hands on the release while we were racing (we won by the way lol) everytime the helecopters were over us i would try and pull it down so you couldnt see the yellow out the side window although i'm sure if there are any pics you could see it. i'm still laughing about the whole thing just wondered if anyone else ever did this (or anything as dumb)

now thats a good one....I have never or had my side kick ever do it...but if either one of us had done it....I would be laughing about it the hole race....especially if it was the other guy....I would be busting on him the hole race....
The funnest thing I have encountered was Gary B. in the World Championship race last year in Destin....in the middle of the race make a phone call to Paul W. in 4 footers....

Dee had bought him water wings to wear in the hot tub. We told him if he was that scared, he could have worn them too. He didnt need to inflate the vest
