Default Need history info on my 1993 47 Fountain -

Hello everyone - I need some help on this one... I am doing some digging on the history of my boat. Word on the street is that my boat was raced in the New Orleans Grand Prix by RF... I pulled the following history video off of www.fountainpowerboats.com and it looks just like my boat. Check it out...

mms://media.fountainpowerboats.com/f.../fp-video1.wmv

If anyone has any info or historical pictures of that race, please let me know....

Thanks!!

I have had it for sale several times because it is too big for the dock behind my house. I can only have a 42 foot MAX length boat... and again, that is the max.

That being said... any time you try and sell something like this, it's just a big hassel. So I have decided to go ahead and finish the boat. I bought a complete Merc #6 staggared racing drive set... now all I need are the motors.

If you know of anyone with a set of hot motors... please let me know.

Thanks!!!

I dont believe that is the #76 flat deck 45 in the movie. i believe that is one of the handfull of what was refered to as a 47CS ( 47 competion series ) i believe it originally had 3 Merc 1000's in it. was for sale for a long time years ago then came off the market and reappeared a few years later with twin 525's, the center motor and drive removed. i believe the factory did the work on the transom. with triple 1000's it was a low 100MPH boat. I love those flat deck 47cs's. The 47cs were always a hard sell just not enough room in them, what kind of $$'s are you looking to get ?

thats a good question, there is the one you have, and there was the 1995 all red ( THE DEALER ) that sat at port everglades it had triple 525sc and #III drives, not to be confused with the all red race boat that Reggie used to run that was converted to pleasure a few years back that was for sale for quite a while, ive heard that another went over seas, but have never seen a picture of any other than yours and the red one. Maybe someone out there has better info.
Does anyone know what happened to the white #76 boat raced down in New Orleans, is it sitting in a warehouse somewere.
